Ontario, California Real Estate & Homes

The city of Ontario, California is located in San Bernardino County about 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles in the Inland Empire. Home to roughly 173,000 residents, Ontario is the fourth most populous city in San Bernardino County. Neighboring cities include Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Fontana, Chino, and Montclair.

There's much to talk about Ontario as this city is the home of the state of the art, 225,000 square foot Ontario Convention Center, the Ontario Auto Center, and the always popular Ontario Mills Shopping Mall. The Edwards 53 screen theater by Ontario Mills creates the largest and one of the busiest cinema attractions in the world. Still a popular alternative to flying out of Los Angeles International Airport, Ontario International Airport is in the process of expanding with future plans of accommodating growth, dedicating terminals exclusively to different airlines such as United Airlines and Southwest Airlines.

Ontario is intersected by the 10, 60 and 15 freeways giving residents easy access to Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Orange counties, as well as local mountain and ski resorts such as Big Bear, Mt. Baldy and Mountain High. A long term project for the city involves planning, annexation and development of the agricultural preserve south of the current city limits. The city has many new and established residential and affordable neighborhoods, being an exciting place to live and work.
